Growing in Grace & Knowledge – Resources for Women
Women at the Paradox, hear this—we need you. We need your gifts, your talents, your wisdom, your service, your knowledge. You are an integral part of what God is doing in and through The Paradox Church. Our mission is to saturate Fort Worth with the glory and grace of God and we cannot do that without you. And because we need you, we must consider what Peter tells us in his second letter. He says, “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18)
If this is true for both men and women (and we believe it is), then what are you doing to grow in the knowledge of Jesus? What books are you reading? What podcasts are you listening to? What blogs are you following?
There are some of you who are undoubtedly killing it at this. You delight in Wayne Grudem’s Systematic Theology almost as much as you do the Word. You’ve followed The Gospel Coalition on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You take pride in sharing with your girlfriends a new gospel-centered podcast you’ve discovered. And to those ladies I say—keep at it. But for those of you who may be wondering where to start, this is a safe place.
In a day and age where a seemingly infinite amount of resources are available at your fingertips, we recognize that not all of them are beneficial. That is why we put together this list of bibles as well as a few authors we trust and links to their books. This list is not meant to be comprehensive, but rather a primer of sorts.
