The early church, as seen in the book of Acts, seemed to be a small movement that influenced and affected every city it came across. The Missio Dei, or Mission of God, is God’s mission to reconcile all things to Jesus. Restoration, redemption, reconciliation, and renewal are bought and paid for through the Cross of Christ and the mission will not fail. God has called His people – the church – to be the instruments from which this renewal is brought about. Yet the church – specifically in the West – seems to have sent God on her mission; not carry out His. Join us as we take a look at some of the stories in Acts.
