Assurance: How Do I Know If I Am Saved?

Passage: 1 John 2:3-6 Part 5 of our series "Saved: Past, Present, Future"

From Series: "Saved"

It is common for Christians to speak of “being saved”; it is also common for skeptics or non-believers to question, “Saved from what?” And, often, neither has the right answer to their presupposed understanding of salvation. The reality is that salvation in the Bible is the Cosmic Plan of Redemption that the Father initiates, the Son accomplishes, and the Spirit applies. It is so vast, so wonderful, so exhilarating, so unbelievable, that it takes salvation to occur to understand even the surface of it, and it takes salvation to be fulfilled for us to ever probe the depths of it. In, Saved: Past, Present, Future, we will take a deeper look at salvation. We will see: Election – Loved Before Time Justification – Right Before God Sanctification – Being Conformed to Christ Glorification – Holy & Blameless Before Him Assurance – How Do I Know If I Am Saved?
