Redemption Group - Root Exposed

Suffering in Egypt, Bricks Without Straw, and The Passover are the names of chapters we have covered in the last three weeks. I would name them: Root Exposed. In my last post I referenced how in group we were looking, searching, digging for the sin that is keeping us from experiencing Jesus. Well I found the Root. It is a hard thing to described prying into your soul only to find fault causing separation from the God who loves us so much.Exposing the sin affecting your life is a bitter sweet experience. Sweet in the sense of realizing God’s grace in helping me identify the fracture in my life, showing me there is no sin too big or so insignificant that Jesus did not die for it. Bitter in knowing and realizing the pain that has been caused to yourself and others; along with the weight of knowing that sin has wedged a gap in the only relationship that will bring eternal peace. My hope in the next few weeks is that God gives me grace in way of pain management to have the strength to struggle well. For more information on Redemption Groups go here.
