What is Porterbrook Fort Worth?

At it’s core, the Porterbrook program is biblical, practical, and affordable theological education with the goal not just of growing in knowledge, but in character and mission in day-to-day life. God’s plan for His mission is not a team of elite, religious Navy Seals, but instead normal everyday christians that are teachers, engineers, stay-at-home moms and more. Porterbrook wants to equip you for this mission by growing you in understanding the Bible, growing your affections for Jesus, and giving you practical training for living this out. Each year consists of 12 courses completed over 3 trimesters, from August 2015 to April 2016. The program is flexible and has been designed to be integrated with all of life in whatever context you’re living and serving. So instead of a traditional classroom setting that meets at a set time and place, you learn in community. You decide the time and date and Porterbrook will help guide your learning. From August to April, there will be four times of traditional teaching from pastors and theologians from the region. Check out this year’s guest teachers here.

Why Should I Do Porterbrook?
