Resources On Biblical Womanhood
Our biblical womanhood is not defined by our ability or success as a _____________. Fill it in: savvy professional, hostess with the most-ess, sacrificial mother, gracious wife, joyful single, you name it. Our biblical womanhood rests solely in our identity as image bearer of God. In grace and wisdom God recognized a void in Adam and in response he beautifully crafted woman. He personally created woman in His likeness- tender, gentle, gracious, kind. While we are created equal to man, we have been fashioned with distinct roles. As women, we are equipped in specific ways to bear God's image and proclaim His glory to all of humanity. This charge should embolden the women of God to set aside all titles and labels and shame and fears and lies of worldly identity and fiercely stand in proclamation of our only identity: purposed image bearer, valued daughter, cherished creation of God.
In relation to the sermon and the Q&A video, every week of our Genesis: 10 Big Questions series we want to provide you with resources that help you go deeper into the topic. Our goal is that these sources will help you increase in your knowledge of God and lead you to worship Him in an even greater way. Here are some resources for this week.
