Resources on Singleness

Being single can be difficult. Pressure to be in a relationship can come from friends, family and even social media. A news feed full of people getting married and having children can make you feel like you’re missing out or that your life is incomplete or somehow lesser than others. Even Christian dating books instruct people on what to do to find that perfect relationship. The truth is we already have a perfect relationship. Through the work of Jesus we have access to to the perfect community–the Trinity–and to a new family–the church.

If we are single or married we can rest in the truth that we are not alone. We have a loving Father who knows us and has adopted us to be his children and given us brothers and sisters to live in rich meaningful friendships with, no matter what stage of life we’re in.

In relation to the sermon and the Q&A video, every week of our Genesis: 10 Big Questions series we want to provide you with resources that help you go deeper into the topic. Our goal is that these sources will help you increase in your knowledge of God and lead you to worship Him in an even greater way. Here are some resources for this week.
